Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, is an American actor. Her most well-known work is her roles in the movies The Haunting of Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden on the Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American film director and actress who also works on television. Her fame was based on her roles in Rectify (a drama) and Timeless (a sci-fi). A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut in the part in the soap opera All My Children. It was for her outstanding performance that she received the Soap Opera Digest Award. The majority of her roles were guest characters in TV series throughout the next couple of years. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne the actress was widely recognized for her role as her character Dr. Erin Jameson. Her beautiful appearance and impressive acting skills led to her gaining the trust of her fans. Her first film appearance was around twenty, when she was her role in Campfire Stones. The other films she's appeared in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. The role she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination in the Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television program Timeless Spencer played the character of Lucy Preston, a history professor. The series has been praised by critics and Spencer's performance has earned her a nomination in The Teen Choice Award.
